I have sold 90% of my egg business to my staff
 

We are so excited to announce the start of a black-owned regenerative agriculture business. The picture above is of the shareholders and directors of Farmer Angus Eggs (FAE).

One of the great tragedies of the new South Africa is that the government is not, to put it mildly, supportive of black farmers (or any farmer for that matter). There are no effective programs in place to help farmers whether they obtained their land from a land claim or not.

Ready liquid eggs

For the convenience of our ice cream and bakery clients we now pack the yolks and whites into 5-litre boxes as well as the 1 litre. Eggs that are too small to fit into boxes go into liquid eggs.

With restaurants closed, you are most likely missing out on some of your favourite meals. One of PJ’s popular breakfast orders at Vadas Smokehouse and Bakery at Spier, is the Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce. Here is the recipe to practice at home until they open again.

We have been fortunate to work with Robin (the badass on the left in the white shirt) and JohnRae (the cool dude designer on the right) who work for UVP Veltopak. They have been making special cardboard boxes for us. These are what you’ll find Beef in a Box and our Liquid Eggs packed into. 

  

What inspires me

Human beings limit themselves.

This guy is incredible. Please watch what one man with willpower and his hands and a simple tool can accomplish in 60 days. Thank you Mr Tfue for your inspiration.
