500g Farmer Angus beef mincemeat
1 tsp cumin
2 garlic cloves
¼ tsp turmeric
2 Tbs toasted sunflower seeds
1 tsp sumac
1 lemon’s zest
Sauté the onion and garlic in some olive oil. Add the cumin, paprika, and turmeric in the pan. Fry for one minute then allow to cool.
Mix in the sunflower seeds, sumac, and lemon zest.
Add in the raw mincemeat and mix well.
Shape into balls or to fit the skewer and panfry for about 10 minutes.
Serve with mint yoghurt dressing or hummus.
